Planeta Minecraft helps you get to know the game calmly and at your own pace: which edition to choose and how to install it officially, how the game modes differ, how to survive your first night, what to build next and how to play with friends without nasty surprises. We also write for parents who want to understand what their child is playing.
Minecraft never rushes you: any block can be placed again, and any setback can become a new plan.

A player's dictionary: mobs, biomes, crafting, redstone, spawning, resource packs, shaders, servers and raids.
Walk up to the nearest tree and collect logs until you have a small stock. Logs turn into planks, planks into a crafting table, and on the crafting table you make your first tools.
Don't stray far from where you spawned. While it's light, dig a nook into a hillside or put together a tiny hut from any blocks: what matters is solid walls and a roof, with a door over the entrance.
Hostile mobs spawn in the dark. Torches made from sticks and coal light up your shelter inside and by the entrance outside, and things around your home get noticeably calmer.
Your hunger bar slowly goes down, and a well-fed character regains health. Gather apples, find animals or plant seeds so that by evening you have at least a small supply.
A bed is made from planks and wool. Sleeping lets you skip the night and sets a new respawn point, so after a mishap you'll wake up at home rather than on the far side of the world.
No. Planeta Minecraft is an independent, unofficial reference. We are not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft, we don't sell the game and we don't run any servers of our own. For news and help from the developer, go to the game's official website and the Mojang Studios help pages.
No. We don't distribute the game or provide download links. Minecraft should only be installed through your device's official store or the official website: that way you get updates and don't put your account at risk.
No, and there never will be. We don't publish cracked builds or cheat programs: they often hide malicious code, and using them is an easy way to lose your account. We show you how to play fair and enjoy your own discoveries.
Java Edition runs on personal computers. Bedrock Edition is available on mobile devices, consoles and Windows, and lets you play with people on other devices. Decide based on what you'll play on and who with; see the Editions section for details.

A different site used to run on this domain, and later its addresses were taken over by unrelated spam pages. None of that material has survived, and we do not reproduce it. The project's name came to us together with the domain.
Minecraft is a trademark of its rights holder. We don't host files, publish download links or compile server rankings: our job is to explain the basics and point you to safe, official ways of doing things.
